I developed two types of panels for this exhibit. The first mimics an erased blackboard, and the second mimics a white board. Roughly, the blackboard graphics discussed the more distant history, while the whiteboard graphics discussed the more recent issues. The exhibit for which the graphics were made can be seen here.
True story: while the museum’s director was giving a tour of the NRL exhibit, he saw someone trying to peel the blue masking tape from the whiteboard, so I guess the illusion was a success.
